PRIMAL TECHNOLOGIES Open Services Platform (OSE) Deploys “Bon Voyage” SMS Service with WorldCell Solutions/Summa Networks
TORONTO, ON–- Primal Technologies announced today that the Primal Bon Voyage SMS service has been deployed at WorldCell Solutions. The “Bon Voyage” service leverages both the existing Primal NFV SMSC and Summa Networks’s HLR/HSS including an HTTP Post interface, which is triggered on Location Updates when subscribers roam onto other Roaming Partner networks. When any WorldCell subscriber roams they will receive a text message such as “You are roaming with Carrier X, the following rates will apply: Texts: $0.40/text Data: $3.00/MB Airtime: $1.00/min 411: $3.00 LD: $0.44/min. “Basically any Mobile Network Operator with a Summa Networks HLR and Primal SMSC can benefit from this Outbound Roaming feature” said Greg Carlson, Director of Business Development.
